Unschooling James and Adam

Squash and squash blossoms from our little vegetable garden Here are Adam and Daddy digging for some sweet potatoes with their supervising manager, Hermione :) Sparky is now a mommy! Yup, a breastfeeding mommy to Soap, Vicky, and Ghost.

On our last day, we came back to Pinamalayan for more snorkeling and to spend another day with our new-found friends. Adam was able to had his first diving lesson and spent the whole day developing his skill.  Kuya Michael taught James how to eat sea urchins and which ones are edible. According to James, it tasted like salmon. Tang and I borrowed diving gears and enjoyed exploring the underwater disco and saw different kinds of fishes, sea urchins, and starfish. For lunch, we had ginataang pugita (octopus in coconut milk). We bought the octopus from a local and had it cooked by Ate Bek-bek. In the afternoon, a couple of boats from Marinduque brought giant squids and fresh fish to sell during the town fiesta.
