No Sun, No Fun?

Fun in November 1

Here are some of the fun things James and Adam made/did this month of November: We made flour tortilla from scratch and ate breakfast burritos. Adam learned how to use the printer so they made Minecraft and Dr. Who papercraft without any help. These are the toys they received during the Trick-or-Treat event at the mall. They thought of repainting them with spray paint and tempera paint, and that's what they did! James asked us to "bond" by grilling some liempo, which we all enjoyed eating outside the house.  Q

Fun in November 2

Adam thought of making a parachute, so he researched how to make one on his own. He found a video, gather the materials, and created one. James became interested, so Adam showed him how to do it, making sure that the strings have the same length. While taking their baths, they thought of putting on beards and decided to practice "shaving" with Lego shavers. :) After going to the mall and spending their tokens at the arcade, we had a great lunch of pizza, carbonara, fried chicken & mojos. We also got a free Supercard by buying gift certificates that we plan to use for Adam's birthday! It was the founding anniversary of Oriental Mindoro and the streets are adorned with arks designed by different municipalities with themes that represent each town. This one from Pinamalayan with a giant Moriones head captured our interest most. James has been into cooking and baking and since we have overripe bananas from our own plant, I facilitated his interest in
